To streamline the peak hour traffic between Indirapuram and Noida, traffic police has decided to make two underpass routes as one way for two hours everyday.
SP Traffic, Ghaziabad, SN Singh in a meeting held between a traffic management committee and federation of apartment owner's association (FedAOA) informed about the decision on Saturday.
“Shipra Underpass would be one way from 8-10 am in morning. While coming from Noida to Indirapuram, CISF underpass would be one way from 6-8 in the evening,” SP traffic informed.
Besides, Tikona park road near Shipra Mall would also become one way. Shaili Singh, member of FedAOA, listed out the initiatives taken in the meeting.
Cranes will be used near vegetable markets for lifting of wrongly parked car.
All the nearby mall management officials will use loud speakers for regular announcements of wrongly parked vehicles.
“Inspite of various reminders, if the vehicles are not moved, they will be then lifted by cranes deployed by traffic police,” Singh said.
Besides, SP Traffic directed all in-charges present in the meeting to take strict and immediate action against unauthorised roadside vendors if found creating traffic nuisance.
“All station in-charges are directed to clear the mess regularly without waiting for officials of Ghaziabad Development Authority,” Singh said.
