Residents this time opted for an eco-friendly idol which was about 4 feel tall. Tyagi said, ''We transported the idol from Pune to Noida. And the main reason and motivation behind the effort was to save the environment. The idol is made of pure soil and will dissolve in water once it is immersed.”
After immersion, Prasad was distributed among the residents irrespective of the sector.
