As per the record, six gold chains, a pistol, and a motorcycle have been seized from the accuse.
Amidst the growing crime incidents, two chain-snatchers were caught by the officials of Bisrakh police station on Sunday night after a brief exchange of fire in Greater Noida.
The incident took place on Sunday when two motorcycle-borne riders, Vikram and Prateek, snatched a chain from a woman near Cherry County post in Greater Noida and ran away. Later, the police caught hold of them injuring one of the accused in an exchange of fire.
As per the record, six gold chains, a pistol, and a motorcycle have been seized from the accused.
The police in Greater Noida have swung into action ever since the cases of chain-snatching, mobile-snatching have increased in the area.
Station House Officer (SHO) Bisrakh, Manoj Pathak, said that during the preliminary investigation, the accused have revealed to have been carried out more than 14 chain-snatching in the area.
“An FIR has been registered and the matter is being investigated,” the SHO added.
