Noida residents celebrate Prime Minister's birthday with poor children

To celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, people from different residential pockets of Noida, in association with an NGO, Hamara Kartavya, donated notebooks and stationery to needy children.

At an event was organised at vegetable market of Sector 62, children of vegetable vendors received notebooks and other stationaries besides fruits and chocolates.

Mahipal Singh, RSS member, motivated the children and told them that they should work hard to overcome the challenges they face in life. He gave an example of the PM who too hailed from a humble background, but his hard work paid off and has become the prime minister of the country for not one, but two successive terms.

He told the children to take a cue from PM Modi and strive hard to achieve something big in their lives.

On the occasion, the residents felicitated two illustrious citizens of Noida, Nisha Sharma and Varun Sharma, who recently entered Limca Book of Records for their Yoga performance. They are now striving to enter The Guinness Book of Records.
