Kamakshi Apartments, a venture of Grih Mantralaya Cooperative Group Housing Society, was formed in the early eighties by a group of people working in the Home Ministry. According to the management of the Society, the apartments were constructed in the late nineties. “The construction of the Society was started in 1994 and it was ready for possession by 1999. There are total 120 flats in which 85 are 3 BHK and 35 are 2 BHK with an area of 1,400 sqft and 1,000 sqft respectively,” informs Sanjay Jain, Treasurer of the society. Known for its cultural diversity, cleanliness, low height and safety, the complex has 6 towers, five floors in each.
