Residents of Arun Vihar, an army sector, along with officials of Noida Industrial Development Authority on Sunday carried out cleanliness drive in Sector 29.
A team headed by Rahul Sharma, senior manager, civil works, and office bearers of Arun Vihar Residents Welfare Association (AVRWA) management committee and a large number of residents have participated in the drive picking up waste scattered all around the sector.
The residents shared with the officials various problems faced by them in their respective wards.
The drive concluded with the residents taking a Safaigiri Shapath. On the occasion, Safaigiri kits and T-shirts were distributed among the participants who were over 120 in number.
The authority officials along with the residents of Sector 53 also conducted the cleanliness drive in the residential pocket. Residents of the sector drew the officers’ attention towards the problems in the sector.
