Gurugram: To streamline the payment related queries of water and sewer charge, the Municipal Corporation of Gururgam appointed Executive Engineer Amit Sandilya to resolve complaints about the bills and payments lying in Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).

The MCG recently took over the complete charge of water and sewer of the sectors that come under HSVP.

According to a MCG official, if any citizen belonging to the sectors 1 to 57 has any complaint related to the bill, then he/she should contact the office of Executive Engineer-7 located opposite the Civil Hospital.

In this regard, a meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of MCG's Chief Account Officer Bharat Bhushan Kalra. Nodal Officer Rajesh Bansal, Account Officer Karambir Yadav along with representatives of the bill disbursing agency BCITS, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were present during the meeting.

During the meeting, it was informed that some consumers visited the citizen services centre of MCG to rectify the error in their bills. “Any consumer who has any complaint related to the bill, they should contact the Executive Engineer of MCG, Amit Sandilya at his office located opposite the Civil Hospital.” said MCG official.

They also said that the consumers can make their payments through online banking, debit and credit card through MCG website www.mcg.gov.in.

The cash payment is only accepted in the citizen services centers of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram. Cash will not be accepted at any other location.

The residents can download the water, sewer bills online by downloading the MCG consumer app on their mobiles.
