Noida-GreNo traffic violators prove hard nut to crack Main Hoon Don: A biker driving on wrong side without a helmet on

Gautam Buddh Nagar:  Despite the crackdown on traffic violators, the traffic police seems to have failed to rein in errand motorists. During their drive against rash and negligent driving in the city, the police took strict action against the violators including issuance of challans. But all this seems to have come to naught as traffic violation is still rampant in many parts of Noida and Greater Noida.

During a recce of some areas of the twin cities, CitySpidey noticed two-wheeler and four-wheeler routinely flouting the traffic norms with impunity. These rogue drivers indulge in rash driving, exceeding the speed limit, overtaking, driving on the wrong side oblivious of the risk to their own lives as well as that of others.

Apart from this, we have found several bikers without the mandatory helmets on while riding.

Here are a few examples our lensman has caught on camera which could help our visitors comprehend the extent of the traffic violation in the cities.

A scene at the  accident prone zone: A car in the reverse gear about to take the wrong side of the road for a shortcut to a nearby petrol pump for fuel. A scooty too is making the same mistake

Looks like traffic rules are not meant for them

Heropanti: Driving on the wrong side without a helmet on... spitting on the road... This youth seems to be on cloud nine riding a bike. Apart from violating the traffic rules, he is making a minsmeat of the Swacchta Abhiyan

Multiple violations: First,  wrong side, second, pillion riding without helmet, and third, tripling

Deadly thrills: Tripling on the wrong side without helmet

This gentleman took an abrupt turn towards wrong side of the road to save the 30 seconds he would have taken to reach his society only to realise that the wrong cut he took could have cut his life short
