New Delhi: In view of Cental Pollution Control Board's (CPCB) report, the Supreme Court on Monday partially lifted the ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR. The top court has allowed the construction activities from 6 am to 6 pm. 

According to CPCB's report, construction activities are not allowed at night from 6pm to 6 am. 
 
Additional Solicitor General A N S Nadkarni told a bench comprising justices Arun Mishra and Deepak Gupta that the pollution board had constituted a high-level committee in pursuance of the apex court's direction to examine the feasibility of using technology like smog towers to combat air pollution. 

The bench also asked  Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana government to present before it the updated report of stubble burning up to December 11.

The apex court would hear the pollution matters on December 16.
