Noida: The Noida Industrial Development Authority on Saturday opened a pink toilet for women in the city taking the total number of such toilets to five.
The pink toilet is located below the elevated corridor of Sector 26.

Local MLA Pankaj Singh inaugurated the toilet by cutting the ribbon and officially announcing the opening of the facility for women.

Apart from this, the authority also opened two more washrooms, at Sector 15 and Sector 77, in the city which were inaugurated by Ritu Maheshwari, Chief Executive Officer of the authority.

According to officials of the authority, the public conveniences have come up at garbage dumpyard which was causing inconvenience to commuters and pedestrian alike.

The officials said that due to the construction of public toilet, the area was looking better.

The Noida Authority has replaced total 35 dumpyards in the city with gardens and urinals.
