Greater Noida: Nine days after the brutal murder of Gaur City 5th Avenue's resident Gaurav Chandel, the police on Wednesday found his Kia Seltos car at Ghaziabad's Masuri.
As per police, the recovery of car is big development in the case. They are hopeful of finding the culprits after recovering the car.
Station House Officer, Masuri, Naresh Kumar Singh said that the car was found at Akash Nagar colony. The number plate was missing on the car.
The incident happened on the intervening night of January 6 and 7.
Chandel was allegedly looted and murdered on Monday night near Parthala Chowk.
The residents had found his body lying between Parthala Chowk and Hindon Bridge. His mobile, laptop and Kia Seltos car were missing.
He was immediately rushed to Yatharth Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
There was an unrest among the residents of Greater Noida West after the murder. They had carried out a protest against the lapses in security of the people residing in the area.
They demanded justice for Chandel and arrest of his murderer.
