Noida: 26th January is a special day as on this day our constitution came into force in 1950 and our country became a republic. This day has a special significance for the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) as on this day it has completed first year of its successful operations.
Celebrating the occasion of 71st Republic Day, Ritu Maheshwari, MD/NMRC, hoisted the Indian national flag at NMRC headquarters in presence of PD Upadhyay, ED/NMRC, Manoj Vajpayee, GM/NMRC and RK Saxena, COO/N-GN.
Thereafter, the officials enjoyed the cultural dance performed by the talented students of Jagran Public School.
At 10.30 am, MD/NMRC flagged off a 4.2 km half marathon which commenced from head office at Ganga Shopping Complex and ended at Noida Stadium, Sector 21A Noida.
Officials and staff of the NMRC, handholding team of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), PAC personnel(s) and nearby residents participated in the NMRC Half Marathon.
