Ghaziabad: The medical department has found first suspected case of coronavirus at Ghaziabad on Friday. The department has found symptoms of coronovirus in a resident of Raj Nagar locality and has started his treatment, officials told.
The suspect recently returned from China after the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
The department has also isolated the suspect and his family in their house and kept them under the observation for next 28 days.
The department has also sent samples of the suspect to Delhi for the tests. “The reports are awaited and possibly will come in 2-3 days,” informed Chief Medical Officer, Dr NK Gupta.
Meanwhile, the department has alerted the neighbours and advised them to keep precautions for the said period of time.
