Gurugram: As a part of Ease of Living Index Assessment, a Citizen Perception Survey is being conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to know the perception of citizens with respect to quality of life in their cities.

The survey named ‘My City My Pride’ which is being administered both online and offline, has commenced from February 1 and will go on till February 29. It includes Smart Cities and Millennium Plus category cities.

In this regard, Surendra Singh, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG), held a meeting with the MCG officials.

He said that the survey conducted by the union government includes various parameters such as health, education, affordable housing, public transport, sanitation, waste collection, air pollution, women safety among others.

This survey is being done to assess the progress made in the city through various initiatives and help the municipal corporation in better planning and management to improve the livability of the city for its citizens.

“Citizens of the city are requested to participate in Ease of Living survey which is being conducted by the union government. Citizens can access the survey online and rate various services available in the city. Officials of various departments were also asked to submit report on the same,”said SS Rohilla, Public Relation Officer, MCG.
