Gurugram: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) in collaboration with Earth Saviours Foundation opened a creche in the premises of district court to ensure that the parents can spend time with their children while at work.

It was inaugurated by the district and session judge and chairman of DLSA MM Dhonchak.

Earth Saviours Foundation founder Ravi Kalra, DLSA Secretary and Chief Judicial Magistrate Pradeep Chaudhary along with Chief Judicial Magistrate Anil Kaushik were also present on the occasion.

Leaving their kids at home is among the major concern for the working parents and with the opening of this facility, women employees working in the court will be benefited.

Appreciating their efforts to provide better facility to working parents, Dhonchak said that this creche is a good initiative and will be helpful for working women.

He said, “Many working women come to the district court and mini secretariat. For those who do not leave their kids at home, its importance increases even more. It will be an additional facility for the women who come here so that they can take care of their children along with work.”

The creche was built near Gate No 6 of the district court premises. The facility will have TV, music system, baby feeding area, toy section, diaper change corner among others.

“This is just the beginning and will increase the facilities according to the feedback from the people,” he concluded.
