Biometric attendance barred at govt offices to prevent coronavirus

New Delhi: Delhi government on Thursday barred biometric attendance at all the autonomous bodies of National Capital Territory of Delhi to restrict people from getting infection from coronavirus.

The biometric attendance was suspended for all the government office employees.

Deputy Secretary, General Administrative Department (GAD), Promila Mitra sent a notification to all the secretaries of departments for temporary suspension of biometric attendance.

Earlier, a notice was sent to follow same restriction at government hospitals.

Amid the preparedness for prevention of coronavirus, the government barred biometric attendance for time being.
