Gurugram: In wake of coronavirus threat, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) issued an advisory appealing public to avoid visiting the electricity offices.
The discom has asked the people to avail online facilities and they can reach out through toll free number 1912 or email at 19@dhbvn.org.in for any complaints and queries.
They have urged the consumers to pay their electricity bill online through discom’s website www.dhbvn.org.in or through UPI apps including PhonePe, Paytm or Google Pay.
Moreover, for any new connection, extension of load, installation of solar plant or any other requests, it should be made online through discom’s website.
Apart from it, the electricity department has also advised its staff members to use sanitisers, masks and follow other precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
