The RWA election held in Arun Vihar last Sunday was a grand affair. A huge turn-out, proper counters, ballot boxes and sumptuous food made the event a runaway hit. Oh, and it was carried out with the Spartan efficiency of Defence personnel, obviously. City Spidey brings you a few glimpses:

OPENING CREDITS: Residents turned up in numbers to collect ballot forms as voting season hit Arun Vihar.

THE PLOT THICKENS: Residents dropped their votes in the ballot box. The white box to vote for Ward Director and the trendy, pink one for Chairman. Simple. Effective.

SUSPENSE BUILDS: You could feel the tension in the air as the ballots were being counted. Who will win?

CLIMAX: Ex-chairman Brig Ashok Hak (left) passes on the torch to the newly elected chairman, Col OP Mehta (right)

CURTAIN CALL: Participants and voters shake a leg post-election. These guys certainly know how to rock the casbah.
