“The positivity rate has come down to 7 per cent over the past week, as compared to 8.5 per cent to 9 per cent earlier. Overall, since the beginning of the pandemic, it has come down to 9 per cent from the earlier 12 per cent,” Jain said.

He said, “There are signs of stabilising of trend now. Earlier, there was a sudden increase in the number of cases as the number of tests went up. We found the cases and isolated them at home or in hospitals. You will definitely see a downward trend in the next two weeks.”
