Dwarka Police conducts security audit of societies
Dwarka: In order to strengthen the security system in Dwarka District, a security audit of all the societies and DDA pockets are extensively being carried out in the city under a campaign of Dwarka Police. The audit is being done by a Screening Committee constituting media, NGOs, resident bodies and intellectuals residing in Dwarka.
The audit is being done under the supervision of DCP Dwarka, SK Meena.
For the audit, the societies have been sent the digital forms through WhatsApp and emails so that the RWAs or Managing Committees could fill it and submit it to the police.
ACP Rajender Singh said, “This is the third consecutive year where such kind of audit is being carried out in Dwarka. Societies are taking interest in making their security system perfect. This audit campaign initiative has created a deep sense of security among the people. They are making efforts to make their society perfectly managed so that they could win the award of best secured society or best secured DDA pocket.”
As said by Singh, Dwarka is the only place where such type of security audit is being organised.
Dwarka sub-city comprises 402 societies and 52 DDA pockets. The screening committee would shortlist the nomination and visit the societies/DDA pockets. After evaluating the requisite parameters, the Best Secured Society/DDA pocket would be felicitated by CP, Delhi.
