With 274 fresh cases, coronavirus tally reaches 23,801 in Gurugram
Gurugram: Gurugram’s cumulative tally reached 23,801 as 274 fresh cases of Covid-19 recorded on Monday. One more person succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, pushing the death toll to 185, according to the district health department.
As many as 233 patients were treated and discharged during the day, bringing the overall recoveries to 21,182. The recovery rate counted to 88.99 per cent, slightly down from 89.04 per cent on the previous day, the health bulletin said.
The number of active cases in the district rose to 2,434 from 2,394 on Sunday. Of the total active cases, 11 are hospitalised at dedicated Covid hospitals, while 154 are under observation at dedicated Covid healthcare centres.
16 are under observation at district Covid care centre whereas 2,253 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 1,066 new cases, pushing the state’s tally to 1,43,221, while the death toll rose to 1,592 as 13 more persons succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours, the state health bulletin said.
Of the state’s total caseload, 1,31,228 patients have been recovered so far, while the total number of active cases stood at 10,401.
The state’s recovery rate counted to 91.63 per cent, while the Covid-19 positivity rate counted to 6.44 per cent. The fatality rate stood at 1.11 per cent. The state’s doubling rate of coronavirus cases is every 38 days.
