Dwarka: People allege selective approach in issuing fines for Covid violations

New Delhi: The government has adopted tough stand to check the spread of coronavirus. They had announced a fine of Rs 2,000 for not wearing mask or wearing it in wrong manner. But people said that they find it difficult to manage the mask all the time.

They shared that it is very difficult to manage phone calls while keeping the mask on. One of them said that he was fined while he kept the away only for a fraction of second. The officials of the authority clicked photographs and fined the people.

However, there are people who are still not following the guidelines. The violations have been there in the market areas, public places, parks and political gatherings.

Community people said that the administration is having a selective approach in issuing fines. There are people who are violating the guidelines blatantly but are escaping the penalties. On the other hand, there are people who are being penalised harshly.
