Dwarka: Contrary to the claims of the civic agencies, the footpaths are not safe in front of societies in Dwarka. One can see missing drain covers and open manholes quite frequently.
Missing drain covers can be seen at the footpath near Batuk Ji Apartments, Welcome CGHS and Balaji CGHS in Sector 3. The same problem can be seen at master plan road as well.
Such spots can be seen from the old police chowki till the signals at Sector 3/4/12/13.
According to the residents in the locality, some of the spots like the one near the signal (in photograph) have been lying unattended by the civic authorities for more than a year.
CitySpidey is drawing the attention of the civic authorities to solve the problem and make the footpaths safe for the pedestrians.
