Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for coronavirus

New Delhi: Neetu Kapoor shared a post on Instagram confirming that her son, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for coronavirus. In the post, she wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.”

Neetu Kapoor was herself diagnosed with coronavirus in December last year. Ranbir’s uncle Randhir Kapoor also talked about his health with a news portal earlier. He was quoted as saying, “I believe he is not well, but I am not sure about the nature of the illness. I am not in town.”

However, Ranbir Kapoor is all set to hit the big screen with his upcoming ventures. His two films include ‘Shamshera’, set to release on June 25 and ‘Brahmastra’, the release date of which is not yet announced.

You will also see Sanjay Dutt and Vani Kapoor in pivotal roles in Shamshera. In Brahmastra, which is directed by Ayan Mukherjee, Ranbir will be seen sharing the big screen with girlfriend Alia Bhatt for the first time. Bhatt shared a promotional post on Instagram for Brahmastra last week:
