New Delhi: The novel coronavirus does not seem to spare anyone. This time, it is the Indian actor Manoj Bajpayee who has been tested positive for coronavirus as announced by his team on Friday.

Bajpayee’s spokesperson said, “Manoj Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions.”

According to Bajpayee’s spokesperson, the actor had commenced the shooting for the movie “Despatch” last month and was diagnosed with Covid-19 after the director of the movie Kanu Behl got infected by it.

The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The shooting of the movie has been put on hold for now and will resume a couple of months later.

Bajpayee will be seen in the role of a character who finds himself sucked in the murky underbelly of business and crime in this investigative thriller.

Apart from this, the teaser of his new web series “Silence… Can You Hear It?” dropped 2 days back which is also a crime thriller. With this series, Prachi Desai is also making her comeback. Barkha Singh and Arjun Mathur are also a part of this project.
