Residents welcome new DCP of Rohini district

New Delhi: In order to narrow down the gap between the residents and Delhi Police, an event was organised by the Federation of CGHS, Rohini.

The new Deputy Commissioner of Police of Rohini District, Pranav Tayal was welcomed by the federation members at the basement hall of the Overseas Apartments, Sector 9, Rohini on Monday.  The committee members of the federation were present at the event.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Vikas Shyokand and Station House Officer Praveen Kumar also talked to the residents and the available members of the Managing Committees of the societies.

The spokesperson and the PRO of the Federation, Ram Avtar Nayyar requested DCP Tayal to keep the law and order situation of the region in control. The officer of RWA of Ganga Triveni Apartments asked for a police post to ensure better safety.

The organiser and host of the event, Sachin Sharma took the opportunity to highlight the law and order situations and problems in front of the police officials. The issue of snatching was said to be prevalent in the region.

ACP Shyokand reassured the members about police keeping a check on such issues and taking the situation under control. SHO Kumar talked about the efforts and initiatives taken by the police. DCP Tayal laid stress on the importance of addressing and talking to the citizens on regular intervals through such events.

After receiving the warm welcome by the federation members, Tayal encouraged the well-being of the senior citizens and urged them to report any kind of problem.
