New Delhi: The Capital on Thursday recorded 1,515 new coronavirus cases, taking the cumulative tally to 6,52,742. The number of new cases reported came out of 89,836 tests conducted on the previous day.
At least 58,303 RTPCR/CBNAAT/TrueNat tests and 31,533 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate stood at 1.69 per cent. The cumulative positivity rate stood at 4.61 per cent.
Five deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 10,978.
A total of 903 patients have recovered from the deadly disease, taking the total recovery figure to 6,36,267 in the national capital. Currently, there are 5,497 active cases in the city.
Out of the total 5,740 beds in coronavirus hospitals, 4,646 are vacant. A total of 2,871 patients are in home isolation.
