New Delhi: Taking into account the worsening Covid situation, every society is trying its best to tackle all kinds of emergencies. To help the community people and support the system in managing the coronavirus pandemic, some societies have started making isolation wards in their premises in Dwarka. And some who don’t have community halls are keeping medical supplies in their society.
Delhi Journalist Apartments, Sector 13, Dwarka doesn't have a suitable space where quarantine facilities can be set up. But the society members have kept some medicines, oxygen cylinders and PPE kits to tackle emergencies.
“We have made arrangements for oxygen cylinders and concentrators for emergency use of Covid patients. Oxygen supply can be provided at home for at least 24 hours till a patient gets a room in a hospital. We have even arranged medicines, masks, saline bottles, life-saving drugs, PPE kits, and gloves. In-house doctors trained a team of residents to help them in emergency situations,” said Jai Kumar Sharma, President, Managing Committee, DJA Apartments.
We need to come together and unite as Indians and as human beings. It is great to see such an initiative by the Delhi Journalist Society to help their residents.
