Community hall at Dwarka converted into Covid care centre

Dwarka: The Community Centre in Sector 9, Dwarka is now converted into Covid centre. All Dwarka Resident Federation has started this initiative jointly with DM/DC Southwest Dr Naveen Aggarwal.

This Covid care centre facility is being managed and maintained by the All Dwarka Residents Federation Team and in direct supervision of President Ajit Swami, VP PK Singh, General Secretary JC Goyal, Secretary BP Vaishnav, and IT, Communication and Media Head Rahul Srivastava.
The facility has over 100 beds with all the facilities such as Medical Oxygen Cylinders and also deployed Civil Defence personnel, Food Supply on a 24X7 basis.

Ajit Swamy, president of ADRF said to CitySpidey, “At present, there are 10 beds in the centre with the help of Dr Naveen Agarwal who have provided us all the medical support in the covid care centre. Right now, this facility is only for those who can live in home isolation, but their house does not have adequate arrangements to isolate themselves at home.”

Also, all the arrangements for eating, drinking etc. are here for patients. PPE kits, gloves have also been made for the staff working in Covid centre.

Small scale community covid centre is being started in New Delhi. These community centres are for those who have very mild symptoms. All the administration of the entire district is engaged in its preparations.

“Yes, we are providing medical staff like doctors, nursing, pharmacist, para medicals and teleconsultation staff here at sector 9,” said Dr Pradeep Bhardwaj, CEO of Six Sigma Healthcare (High Altitude  Medical Services).

According to the administration, a discussion is going on with some other societies in Dwarka that have community halls to get converted into Covid centres.
