New Delhi: The Billboards Music Awards were held on Sunday at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles and were aired live on NBC. It was a celebration of music and many breathtaking performances took place on the stage of BBMA. The awards were hosted by Nick Jonas.
The Weeknd was the star of the show taking home most wins of the night with winning in 10 categories out of 16 in which he was nominated. He even graced the affair with his performance on Save Your Tears. He won in the prestigious categories like Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top R&B Artist and so on. His last album really did him some good and made his fans extremely happy.
Drake took home the Artist of the Decade and Top Streaming Songs Artist trophies while Taylor Swift won the Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist. BTS also won accolades like Top Social Artist (Fan Voted) and their song Dynamite won the Best Selling Song. Doja Cat won the Top Female R&B Artist while Bad Bunny won the Top Latin Artist.
The event was graced by beautiful performances. Pink performed with her daughter and left everyone awestruck. The Jonas Brothers also engaged themselves in an amazing performance. However, the highlight of all the performances was the performance by BTS on their new single, Butter. DJ Khaled, H.E.R. and Migos also put forward a concert-y performance and Doja Cat along with SZA performed her hit ‘Kiss Me More’.
