Dwarka: Seniors Hub Dwarka (SHD), a registered NGO for elderly men and women, on Sunday organised a webinar to aware people on black fungus disease. It was organised in association with Centre For Sight Group of Eye Hospitals.
Around 757 people attended the awareness session. Dr Sreedhara Shankar Naik (Oculoplasty & Oculofacial surgeon) briefed the people about black fungus, its causes, prevention and treatment.
As per RK Jain, President of SHD, they chose this topic as there is a lot of confusion among people about the disease. He said, “Centre For Sight’s webinar was the right choice to clear the doubts.”
Ravi Jaitley, General Secretary of SHD, said that when the broadcast for this Webinar was done, he got lots of messages appreciating this topic.
“As holding medical talks is not new for us, we got overwhelming response from people. People’s participation in the webinar was the answer to this current topic of black fungus,” he said.
