New Delhi: Free RTPCR tests are being done in various societies of Dwarka these days to detect the positive covid cases to confirm its spread in the city. Tests are being done under the aegis of South West District Administration under the direction of Delhi Government.
On Sunday, such tests were conducted at Kalka Apartments, Sector 6; Adarsh Apartments, Sector 3 Pkt 16; PWD Qtrs, Sector 3 near DPS School; Atulya Apartments, Sector 18; Om Satyam Apartments, Sector 4 etc. People from the societies and also from the other societies in the area availed the facility and got tested in good number.
On Monday as well, tests were conducted at different locations like Dwarka Metro Station; Uttam Nagar Bus Terminal; Shaheed Bhagat Singh Apartments, Pocket-3, Sector-14; Om Apartments, Pocket-2, Sector 14; DM office, Kapashera, Transport Authority (MLO Office), Sector 10; and Government Health Dispensaries across Dwarka except Sector 10 and 14.
A social activist and former president of Dwarka Forum, Madhury Varshney shared some photographs to CitySpidey with some inputs to make community aware about the camps. She said, “We all need to encourage people for tests. All are requested to kindly motivate residents from nearby apartments, helpers and others to get them tested. This is a must do thing to be alert and aware to break the chain of Covid.”
To make people aware about such tests and to promote testing, messages are also being circulated in residents’ groups on WhatsApp. Social activists, organisations and RWAs are circulating such messages shared from administration regarding the tests.
