This updating idea works well on hoops of all sizes and since this is not permanent, you can add any design, number of beads, or colour of beads according to your preference and outfit.

Wrapped up ‘threaded’ hoop earrings

Material required: Threads, plain hoop earrings, and glue

Procedure: This is a creative way to up-cycle your hoops but do this with patience as this may take a while. You have to start binding your hoop from one end and put glue then go around with the thread. Make sure to wrap around tightly. Keep wrapping this till the end and stick the thread with glue on the other end. Mix and match the thread one after another and you are ready with your quirky-cool hoops.

Hassle-free ‘tassel’ hoop earrings

Material required: Cardboard, threads, plain hoop earrings, and glue

Procedure: Not only are they fun to make, but they’re super light. Follow these steps to make tassel earrings:  

Take the thread and wrap it around two fingers for 10-12 times and cut.

Take out the loop from your finger and place it at the center of the loop.

Now, wrap the loose ends of the thread around the top of the loop and then tie and knot to secure the tassel tightly on the loop.

Repeat steps 1-3 times with the same or different colours.

There, you are ready with beautiful tassel hoops without a burning hole in your pocket.
