On October 5, the press conference and full dress rehearsal of 'Luv-Kush Ramleela' was held at Red Fort, Delhi. Ashok Aggarwal, Luv-Kush Ramleela committee head, along with actors who play Ram, Sita, Laxman, Raavan & Hanuman were presented at the press conference. The Ramleela will start from October 7.
Aggarwal said, "This year, it wasn't easy to get permission. Four days ago, the government gave permission to us and we tried our best to make the stage better." Aggarwal shared that they change their cast every year.
As per the government guidelines, the audience needs to be fully vaccinated and the artists are also vaccinated. The Ramleela will be organised with proper Covid protocol, social distancing with be maintained and masks are compulsory. Aggarwal shared that the government hasn't given permission for stalls. Limited people are allowed in the Ramleela ground. Children are allowed if their parents are invited.
One of the members of committee said, "We always learn something new from Ramleela. Every state has its own Ramleela play in different languages, which is culturally very important for our generation. From Ramleela, we learned the real meaning of sacrifice."
Ashok Aggarwal said, "This year we have changed the screen play. For those who are not able to come, for them we gave the facility of on-air telecasts throgh DD, Tata sky, etc. Due to pandemic, most of the Ramleela plays will not be happen. So for them, Luv-Kush Ramleela will provide on-air Ramleela from Luv-Kush Ramleela committee."
