Noida: The celebrations of Republic Day continue as the residents of ward 7, Sector 29 decided to help their domestic helpers with woolen clothes. Under the 'Good Karma' initiative, the women of the ward distributed shawls to the maids. The event brought joy to everyone.
Good Karma Initiative was started by Urmila Sharma, the new Ward Director of Ward 7, where the residents of the ward voluntarily donated money to be used for charitable causes. The seniors of the ward participated in the event to experience the joy of giving and sharing. Madhu Sharma, a resident of ward 7 and a member of the initiative says, "It gives us immense pleasure to give back to the society through this Initiative. Even if it makes a small difference to the lives of people, it makes our lives worthwhile."
Raj Rathee, an educationist, says, "On individual level, we could only help just one or two people but when we all started working on this together, our small contributions became big and we were able to help more people. We are receiving so much joy by this."
