Noida: On the occasion of Republic day, Jivan Arpan Samajik Seva Sanstha distributed winter clothes and blankets to the underprivileged to save them from chilling winters.
Under this campaign, the NGO asked for one cloth from every house. They visited several societies to collect clothes for needy people. They then distributed clothes to needy people in Sector 14, near Shani temple. Almost 100-150 people benefitted through this initiative.
Deepanshu Sharma, Founder, Jivan Arpan Samajik Seva Sanstha says, "It is very painful to see people sleeping on footpaths in such spine chilling winters. To save them from this, we were planning this initiative for past two to three months. Our campaign is still active, and we request people to come forward and donate their old or extra clothes."
