Yogendra Singh, ACP Bisrakh Police says, “The cameras have been installed with help of the Greater Noida Authority, local public and with support of police funding. These will aid in checking the cases of crime in Greater Noida West. The cameras are sharp enough to be able to read the number plate of vehicles.”

While talking about the need to install cameras, Ranjana Bharadwaj (42), a resident of Supertech Eco-Village 2 says, “Recently, there was a case of phone snatching in front of my society even though the guards was present nearby. Installing CCTV cameras will be helpful but more CCTV cameras should be installed in deserted places to stop crimes. These cameras will also be helpful in improving the safety of women in the city.”
