Noida Authority has recently passed an order for all pet owners to register their pets. Now, thankfully, the Authority is trying to make this task easier for the pet owners by organising registration camps at the housing societies.
Under the new order passed by the Noida Authority, all the pet parents of Noida must get their pets registered by February 14, 2022. The Authority is holding special registration camps with the help of AOAs and RWAs in housing societies for the same. In the same series, the Apartment Owner Association of Supertech Capetown, Sector 74 is organising a pet registration camp on February 6, 2022, for the same purpose. The timings of the camp will be from 11 am to 2 pm at Capetown Club 3.
While talking about the purpose and benefit of the initiative, Arun Sharma, President, AoA Capetown says, "We are organizing a camp with the help of the authorities. This initiative will be very helpful. If in case any pet harms any citizen, then with the help of records we can just look at the vaccination data."
Ashwani (45), a pet owner in the society says, “This registration camp will be very beneficial for us. We won't have to go anywhere else for this purpose. I vaccinate my French Mastiff dog regularly but there are lots of dog bite cases in my area. However, it depends on how the pet owner trains their pet.”
The fee for pet registration is rupees 500, which includes vaccination fee of the pet. Even if the pet has been vaccinated, it is mandatory to register them, failing which, the pet owners might have to pay a fine of rupees 1000. Pet owners have to make the payment through Debit Card or Credit Card or Net Banking at the camp itself.
The pet owners will need some documents for the registration process. This includes vaccination charts/books, in which the date of vaccination and upcoming date is mentioned, back and front photo of Aadhar card of the pet owner, pet’s photo, photo of the owner with the pet, one photo of the pet owner. Pet owners need to have a smartphone at the time of registration.
