Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi felicitates two community heroes from Dwarka

Dwarka: Sukh Dukh ke Saathi Sanstha(SDKS), a social organisation of Dwarka felicitated two local community heroes, Water activist of the city Diwan Singh and a member of SDKS ML Luthra, for their contribution to the community in their respective fields. The event was organised on April 9, 2022, at the park behind Manish Mall, sector 22, Dwarka.

Capt SS Maan, President of SDKS welcomed the guests and all the members gathered for this event. Col PC Chaudhry, Vice president of SDKS informed the members that Diwan Singh has been tirelessly working for water conservation and declared Jal Prarhari-2022 by Jal Shakti Mantrayala, Government of India recently. His contribution to the conservation of water bodies is the work known in the community.

Talking about ML Luthra, Capt SS Mann said, “Luthra has been associated with SDKS since the beginning. His knack for poetry writing in the English language is globally recognised. He has earned around two hundred awards from various international groups and is recognised as one of the best global English poets.”

SDKS facilitated both of them by giving a certificate of appreciation. In the end, songs were performed by members of SDKS Joginder Malik, Vijay Saighal, and NS Bedi. Another member DC Mathur entertained the gathering with his jokes. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Capt Maan followed by refreshments.
