GreNo: GNIDA bulldozed illegal colony of Khodna Kalan

Greater Noida: On Friday, May 6, 2022, Greater Noida Authority ran a bulldozer over the illegal colony of Khodna Kalan in GreNo. The authority demolished the illegal construction built on about 65 thousand square meters of land in three and half hours.

Under the supervision of Additional Chief Executive Officer of GNIDA Deep Chandra, General Manager AK Arora and Deputy General Manager KR Verma, Project Engineer of Work Circle 2, Shyodan Singh, along with the authority and police team, took strong action against illegal construction in Khodna Kalan.

The authority's team reached the spot at around 7 am and started demolishing the construction of the illegally built colony. This land is to be used for infrastructure and industries. At the request of the CEO of Greater Noida Authority, the Commissioner of Police has assured to provide police force immediately if required to remove such illegal encroachments.

At the same time, while heading a meeting earlier this week, CEO Surendra Singh declared that under the Gangsters Act, strict action will be taken against those who occupy Authority's land illegally.
