CloudNine hospitals celebrate womanhood at Faridabad

Women play an important role in society and nation-building. CloudNine hospitals with community-lifestyle web portal CitySpidey in association with 3C RWA organised the 'I am SuperWoman' event at the Community Centre, 3C block part, Faridabad. During the event, community women were felicitated with certificates and momentoes.

During the event, many women were facilitated for their extraordinary achievements and contribution to their families and societies. Homemakers play an important role in the lives of many. However, their contribution is often ignored. Making a difference, homemakers from Faridabad were honoured such as Sushma Baweja, Alka Bansal, Laxmi Chitkara, Lakshmi Sachdeva, Jaspreet Kaur, Geeta Dua, Shraddha Shrivastava, Meenu Bhatia, Shakuntala Chhabra were honoured.

Dr Aishwarya Sinha from CloudNine Hospital who has 11 years of experience in Gynaecology and obstetrics was felicitated during the event. Dr Aishwarya took an interactive session on women's health issues.

She says, “Gynaecology does not mean to look after you only when you are pregnant or have any problem. We are still helpful to you when you need consultation on hair and skin-related issues. You must consult a gyne for all women related issues, be it health or be it the reproductive system.”

Apart from this, many women talked about their respective fields of work. Uma Gupta, a teacher by profile, explained the importance of education and also explained the impact of offline vs. online education. Neelam Madan, a wellness teacher talked about healing through spirituality. Anant Chutani, a Teacher by profile, national level basketball and baseball player, a state-level swimming champion and state-level basketball player and also a Miss Delhi NCR was also felicitated.

BK Mala Srivastava filled the aura with her enlightening session on Brahmankumaris, Alka Chhibber, a volunteer of Sri Sri Ravishankar and Isha Foundation’s save soil mission, gave an inspiring speech to all the youth and ladies present there and requested everyone to join the mission to save the environment. Inderjit Kaur, a superwoman and a yoga teacher, explained the importance of yoga in life.

Apart from this, a painting competition was also organized for the entertainment of the children. Refreshments were also organized for the audience.
