Yellow House Robot- Noida's first robotic restaurant

Some decades ago, robots were a thing of the future. However, slowly, these mechanised individuals have taken over many sectors. Still, their presence in Indian restaurants is new. At Yellow House Robot Restaurant, in sector 104 Noida, robots named Ruby and Diva appear in desi avatars in a Rajasthani themed restaurant.

The ambience is a mix of modern and traditional. One section is painted with Rajasthani motifs, while the other has a modern bar setting. As gathered, the theme of the walls was designed by the mother of the owner. The menu here is extensive. They have everything from street treats, and Rajasthani cuisine, to Italian and Mexican. The speciality of this restaurant is its tandoor dishes and Rajasthani Thali. They are also serving a special combo as The Yellow platter which has a dish called Ruby's favourite.

The owner of The Yellow house Restaurant in Noida 104, Jiishu Bansal is currently pursuing his Under graduation from the Gulshan Kumar Film & Television Institute of India. He says, "We had been thinking of coming to the F&B industry for a long time. After some research, I came to know about the concept of a robot restaurant. These robots are made in India and work on artificial intelligence. They serve orders to the tables and the whole set-up has cost us around 1 crore."

CitySpidey found that the restaurant had a confused theme and average food. Although the menu offers multiple options, the food was not much to talk about. Robots and the ethnic theme achieved with the help of Rajasthani artefacts did not go together. The robots can be a curiosity for first-time visitors. However, it does not offer much to make them come back.
