Noida: In an ambitious and innovative step, Noida police have initiated to spread the awareness in the community on traffic rules through school children. In this direction, Noida Traffic Police made school children aware of traffic rules and regulations at Sector 108.
Traffic officials demonstrated several activities related to traffic rules in front of children and sensitised them on the subject. They showed children how using phones or going on the wrong side or wearing a fake helmet could risk their lives on the roads.

On the initiative, DCP Traffic, Noida, Ganesh Prasad Sah said that making children aware of road safety would stop them from violating traffic rules when they grow up. They would also make their parents and other grow-ups aware of dos and don’t while commuting on road. He said that such attempts are being made to connect schools with this campaign and the results are encouraging.
Sah said that Noida is the first city in UP to have such a traffic awareness policy. Further, such awareness programs would be held at malls and other public places so that they could maximum people can be sensitized in the community about road safety and traffic rules.
