Dwarka: Nearly 100 children from various sectors and societies enjoyed a five day yoga camp (June 4 to June 8) organised at Sector 10, DDA Park. The camp was organised by Yog Seed, a community initiative aimed at promoting yoga for wellness. Some parents too participated in the camp to support the young ones.
Rakesh Mehra, the founder of Yog Seed and a resident of Sector 10 informs that the camp was specially designed to promote yoga for 5-15 years old.

“The technique used was very creative which combined yoga and fun activities so that children could enjoy yoga. They were told to learn one Sanskrit word every day which was a unique experiment,” shares Mehra.
The Yoga classes were conducted by Vaishnavi Joshi, a resident of Sector 10 who is the Co-founder and General secretary of Yog Seed trust. She says, “We were happy to see such an encouraging strength turn up. The kids were energetic and friendly."
