CitySpidey Impact- GNIDA removes C and D waste from Strategic Royal Court

In a relief to residents of Strategic Royal Court, Greater Noida Authority with Rise 11, a company that collects the C & D waste and recycles them by making tiles, cleared the construction and demolition waste lying near the society on July 15, 2022.

Officials from Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) reached Greater Noida West 16B and contacted CitySpidey. After having a proper discussion with residents and builders, they cleared all the construction material lying outside the societies.

Kunal Dhamija, resident of Strategic Royal Court, Greater Noida West says, “We are happy with this action. Today, they filled 2 trucks with fly ash bricks, cement, stones, and many kinds of C & D waste. Before initiating the action, they asked the builder of Panchsheel Greens, he completely denied that he owns the construction material lying out for months."

Residents of Strategic Royal court were raising several civic issues including lack of security, lack of green cover, mosquito breeding and accumulation of construction and demolition waste. On June 25, 2022, CitySpidey reported their issues, later an anti larva was sprayed. Many issues were still pending. On the same day, anti-lava spraying was done by Authority.

Residents had highlighted that as per the NGT norms, the construction material should remain inside the construction site premises. However, construction materials such as cement, concrete, and fly ash bricks among others had been lying on the road.
