The protagonist of the show is Japanese middle school student Kou Yamori who suffers from sleeplessness. He has chosen to pursue freedom at night because it calls to him. After all, he has grown weary of his daily obligations. Without giving too much away, the girl, Nazuna Nanakusa, whom he encounters while out on one of his nighttime walks, starts to demonstrate to him what it means to be a nightwalker.

Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2

This show brings more relationship drama for Kazuya and his friends. When the first season of Rent-A-Girlfriend was released, it garnered a lot of fandom. As the plot progressed, people were willing to overlook the protagonist's tendency to be a jerk. In case you missed it, Kazuya Kinoshita decides to ‘hire’ a lady after his fiancée dumps him at the start of the series.

Although their date with Chizuru goes well, Kazuya's displeasure at believing that she only treated him well because of his employment causes a chain of events that binds them together. Rent-A-Girlfriend got criticized mostly because of its awful protagonist, yet the show was quickly renewed for a second season.

‘Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon

The third season of ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon’ was fantastic. Bell and his family were forced to reevaluate what they knew after the series revealed what happened to the monsters people hunt in the dungeons. But right now, the main criticism of the show is how little dungeon diving there is.

Fortunately, the most recent season of the show corrects that by sending Bell and his family back into the dungeon. Hopefully, the show can keep up the fantastic world building and the character growth  that has made the franchise so popular.
