Noida: Police organises 'Pink Rally' to celebrate Independence Day

Noida: On the occasion of 75th Independence Day, a 'Pink Rally' was organized by the Gautam Budh Nagar Police under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program.

Several women police officers participated in the rally and went to the Pink Booths made for the help of women. In the Pink Rally, about 300 women police officers of the Women's Security Unit and the Siddha team, carrying the national flag tricolour in their hands, carried out route marches in the densely/mixed populated areas and main markets with pink vehicles and patrolling vehicles and created a sense of security in the minds of women.

The main objective of organizing this Pink Rally was to motivate all the women to come forward and participate in the Azadi Ka Amrit-Mahotsav program.

In this Pink Rally program, DCP Women Security Meenakshi Katyayan, DCP Noida Harish Chander, ADCP Women Security Ankita Sharma, ADCP Noida Ashutosh Dwivedi, concerned ACP and other police officers were present.
