Ghaziabad celebrates 75th Independence Day

As we mark 75 years of India's independence, August 15 became an emotional and exhilarating day for all Indians. Widespread festivities could be seen in Indirapuram with residents coming together for flag hoisting, tiranga rallies and cultural programs.

GH7 Society

75th Independence Day was celebrated with great fanfare at the GH7 Society of Crossing Republic. The flag was hoisted by the president and General Secretary of the AOA in the presence of the Chief Guest around 09:30 in the society. A cultural programme was also organized in the society with dance performances and patriotic musical acts.

AOA of the society felicitated some residents of the society in various fields such as sports, music and social service during the corona period. Thereafter, society AOA President Ram Singh informed residents about AOA's development work for society and Sumit Srivastava, General Secretary thanked everyone for their cooperation.

Shipra Riviera

Shipra Riviera organised an Independence day event with the motto of plastic-free Shipra Riviera society. Children of the society raised awareness of a plastic-free society. They explained how plastic can be separated and waste can be recycled at home using street play. A painting competition and speech competition were also held on the theme of plastic-free Shipra. Winners were awarded prizes. Along with this, residents of Shipra Riviera participated in a tricolour yatra, followed by flag hoisting.

Amarpali society

Amarpali Society AOA and all the residents along with children celebrated Independence day with enthusiasm. In the early morning, they hosted the flag with the national anthem. Inspirational and motivational speeches were also delivered during the event.
