Dwarka: The residents of Dwarka have a lot going for them, including lots of open spaces, parks, swanky shopping malls and five star properties. Another thing that Dwarka is rich in is the several Durga Puja Samitis the sub-city boasts of. 

Every Durga Puja, the residents of Dwarka happily indulge in the Durga Puja Pandal hopping with as many as 6 major Durga Puja pandals dotting the sub-city. One of the major interests of this pandal hopping, besides the cultural programmes and the food stalls, is in comparing the different idols the Puja Pandals have. The first major post pandemic celebration is seeing a very enthusiastic participation by the Dwarka residents. Though one must say this time around the pandals and idols are not that elaborate and grand, but the spirit of the festival is as vibrant as ever. The idols we saw were simpler and more traditional, still we all felt blessed by the presence of Maa Durga among us in all her glory. So happy Puja Pandal hopping to all.
