Noida- Residents celebrate Rawan Dahan at sector 46

Noida: After days of vibrant Ramleelas and anandamelas being held across the city, the festivals concluded on October 5, 2022, with Ravan Dahan on Vijay Dashami.

Sector 46 became the ground of Ravan Dahan for nearly 1500 residents. The ceremony held amid tight security as part of the Ramlila festival was organized by Shri Ram Lakhan Dharmik Leela Samiti. Retired IAS officers NP Singh and Rajya Sabha representative Surendra Nagar were the chief guests.

On the occasion, the chief guests burnt 65 feet tall Ravana effigy. Moreover, effigies of 60 feet Kumbhakaran and 55 feet Meghnath were also burnt. 

Vipin Aggarwal, president of the Ramlila Committee, thanked everyone who contributed to the Ramlila and greeted everyone present. He mentioned that these effigies were created by Satish Kumar, from Moradabad. Pandit Krishna Swami, the Ramlila reader, congratulated the committee for presenting a successful Ramleela.
